E Team Penning is a timed event where horses and riders must get cer- tain cattle to cross a finish line. Approximately 30. cattle are loose in a desig- nated area and each one is tagged with a number from one through 10. The team of three horses and riders are then given a that indicates which cattle they must get across the finish line. For example, if a team gets the number five, they must separate the herd in order to get every cow tagged with a five across the line. This is called cut- ting. And just to make it more fun, there is one more rule - only the cattle with the team number are allowed to cross the finish line. \ sr" nN THEATRES 0 yr g 3 fut RB Riding sheep's just one of the fun events planned for the 2001 Port Perry Fair.
