For most of his life he's been on the go. Especially so when he was a "Toronto high school physical educa- . That's why when he and his wife, Joan, moved to Port Perry in 1996 he "joined the Sunnybrae Golf: Club's Mixed Fun League. "Comprised of people: who are semi-retired or retired, there's about 30 men and women golfers that have hit the greens at 9:30 am. every Wednesday. "Sed 'The league is for golfers who are new to the game or are high handi- cappers that seldom, if ever, partici- pate in competitive tournaments. "There's nothing serious about it, it's just a fine. There are five or six tee-off times, depend- ing on the number of people out. Not everyone is at the same level of play. Some are more avid than _ others. For instance, there's Bob and "some other diehards who arrive at the club early, start their game at 7 a.m. and are then ready to meet the league members at 9:30. "That way I get my 18 holes in," he says... - "The cost of a membership couldn't 'be cheaper. "We have a $5 membership fee and each member pays for his or her own green fee plus 50-cents a week. The prize money comes from that 50 "cents," said Mr. Hull. Then, there's an awards luncheon held at the end of the season. This _year.it's on Oct. 3. "It's been a great summer.
