Historical societies take walking tour Last Saturday afternoon the Pioneers Historical Society of Torento, and the Lake Seugog Historical Seciety got together for a walking tour of Port Perry and Prince Albert Mr. Napier Simpson, the architect who created Black Creek Pioneer Village near Toronto was the official guide for the walking tour Al the outset, Mr. Simpson gave a brief history of Port Peary and Prince Albert citing the intense rivalry that existed at one time the com munities. Bruce read Deut 8: 1 to 20, and followed with prayer Minutes of the last meeting were read by the Secty. Mrs Holland and approved. Roll call, collection and penny collection followed The highlight of the evening was the talk given by Rev. W. Black and Mrs. Black on their recent visit to Scotland, their homeland, with beautiful pictures in colour. For those who had never been to Scotland or Ireland, these pictures were very wonderful. Mrs. Hooper thanked R.EV. Black and also Mrs. Black who battled with the projector and won Mrs. Bentley gave the financial report which was very gratifying.
