Congresi has seen fit to legally set aside Veterans Day in honor of tie men and women from all walks of life who have met the greatest obligation of their American citizenship. That is honorable service in the nation's armed forces in wartime. Veterans Day, \964, falls in a year also of particular historical significance. This year is the 50th anniversary of the beginning of lVorld War I and the 25th anniversary of the start of World War Veterans Day honors the veterans of all ttre nation's eight wars. from the Revolutionary onward to the Korean War.
