William Thomas is reported very much improved. He is under -the care of Dr. Nye. Mr. Thomas is able to walk around a reasonable amount. Warren Francisco had a long trip for a little fence. He went to McHenry anji Ringwood and could get no fencing, then to Woodstock and procured it. Elbert Thomas, wife and little son, Everett, and Mrs. Clara Harris went in the Thomas automobile on Saturday last to Rockford to visit relatives and friends. They returned Monday evening. Mrs. P. .W. Freund drove to McHenry with their Ford. She had her youngest child in* her lap. Three young smarties thought to take all the road and she gave it to them, then they dipped to one side and hit her car, but luckily no damage but the bendilng of a fender. Yanke's household goods arrived from N. C. last Thursday and the family has moved into the living rooms over the store. The Women's club is planning to hold a lawn social Thursday evening, July 29, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. Reed. Refreshments will be served cafeteria style.
