To Make Topographic &qrvey Crystal Lake Herald; Oscar Walsh, who is employed by the state and government for that purpose, heading a field party of five men, arrived in Woodstock Wednesday to start the work of making a topographic survey of McHenry county, which includes surveying the lands, working At the various elevations and making contour maps of the county. The government and state have been carrying on this wort for many years and about threefourth of Illinois has been covered, it is said.
