(52-tf) SUNDAY SCHOOL CONVENTION TO BE HELD AT AURORA ON JUNE 26, 27, 28 Aurora is making elaborate preparations for the state Sunday school convention to be held there June 26, 27 and 28. The First Presbyterian church is to be the convention headquarters and every effort is being made to provide for the comfort and convenience of the delegates. All general meetings and those of the adult division are to be held in this church. The Park Place Baptist church will be headquarters for the young people's division and the First Congregational church has been chosen for the children's division. Wednesday afternoon at five o'clock a big parade is scheduled, in which every Sunday school in the city is planning to take part. A number of prizes are offered. "Besides those of local interest are the following: Prizes will be awarded to the two defegates traveling the greatest number of miles and in the parade. Prizes will be awarded to the two largest delegations outside of Aurottfc in the parade. Thursday evening the closing event of the convention will be the pageant, "Dawning," which will be given in the east high auditorium. This has already received state wide comment and will be well worth seeing. The entire program from 9:30 Tuesday morning to 9:30 Thursday evening is packed with inspiring addresses and interesting conferences, all helpful to the last degree. It is to be regretted that each person can be in only one place at the same time. Five delegates will be needed from each Sunday school that hopes to receive the benefit of the entire convention. ADDITIONAL EXCHANGE The Fox Lake State bank has bun granted a state charter. The capital stock is $25,000. The president is E. H. Waite and cashier is A. H. Franzen.
