This campaign was approved by the United States commissioner of education and the awards are to be given by the national automobile chambers of commerce. The essays submitted to Count Superintendent Dike, were graded by a committee of English teachers, who granted first place to Mi^s Mertie Beard of district No. 63, taught Miss Laura Weter.
