Several head of cattle were shipped to Chicago from the Hoppe farm. Several of the neighbors joined with them and put in enough to fill the car, then some hogs were put in to fill underneath. Earl Sherman and wife of Bull Valley and HaVry Turner and wife of Woodstock left by auto Nov. 2 for Battle Creek, Mich., and returned Nov. 9. Their auto registered 994 miles the round trip.
