Prior to accepting a position with the company at their Chicago plank he worked at the Terra Cotta plant. Yesterday's fall of rain did much to bring up the stage of water in the Fox which has been quite low all spring. It is expected that a day or two will witness the water at its normal height. Down river cities and towns have been complaining about the low stage of water for several weeks past and it is belieVed that these towns will have more water from now on. A very much congested condition again existed at the intersection of Elm and Green streets last Saturday forenoon while one half of the corner was being paved. Considering everything the traffic was handled very satisfactorily.
