Several petitions in favor of different men to fill a vacancy, due to resignation on road patrol section 11 southwest of Harvard were-filed with the Committee, and it was decided to lay the matter of hiring road patrolmen for next year over to a later meeting. As some of the applicants were anxious to know where they stood in order to secure other work If they did not secure the road work, a meeting was held at the Court House on the 8th day of February, 1T>27, and the following list of patrolmen were approved: Section 1--Harney Hicks; 2--Earl Davis;3--Oscar Anderson; 4--W. Committed on Eradication of Tuberculosis in Cattle presented a statement of the number of cattle re-tested in February and giving the number which reacted. , A. II. Pouse, State's Attorney appeared before the Board and stated that the funds heretofore appropriated to his use for the running expenses of his office had been exhausted and that he had further obligated himself in an amount of approximately Two Hundred Dollars to properly conduct his office in the coming weeks it was necessary that he have additional funds at his disposal^and asked for an appripriation of Twelve Hundred Doll ars ($1200.00). It was moved by Supr.
