Aldermen Doherty, Frett, Frisby, Hughes, Overton and Thennes. The minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved. Motion carried. Motion by Overton, seconded by Scheflow be accepted. Motion carried, resignation as alderman be accepted. Motion carried. Motion by Thennes, seconded by Frisby that the bonds of E. M. Scheflow be accepted. Motion was carired. Mayor Wattles appointed Overton, Frisby and Doherty to canvass the votes. They having canvassed the votes found that in the 1st ward there were 232 votes cast. Peter Wm. Frett received 113 votes and John R. Knox received 10© voes for mayor, Peter J. Doherty received 79 votes for alderman, Jack Worth received 28 votes and Gerald Carey 146 votes for treasurer, John MicEvoy received 86 votes for police magistrate, Ray F. Conway received 112 votes for clerk. In the second ward there were 224 votes cast. Peter Wm. Frett received 151 votes and John R. Knox 71 votes for mayor. Herman J. Kreutzer received 126 votes for alderman, Jack Worth received 39 "?otes and Gerald Carey 150 votes for treasurer, John McEvoy received 97 votes for police magistrate. Ray F. Conway received 116 votes for clerk. In the third ward there were 243 votes cast. Peter Wm. Frett received 102 votes and John R. Kiyx received 136 votes for mayor, Gerald Carey received 178 votes and Jack Worth received 32 votes for treasurer, Robt Frisby received 114 votes for alderman, John McEvoy received 124 votes for police magistrate, Ray F. Conway received 118 votes for clerk. In the first ward there were 137 votes for the bond issue and 38 votes against it. In the second ward there were 99 votes for the bond issue and 55 votes against it. In the third ward there were 142 votes cast for the bond issue and 53 votes against it. In the 1st ward there were 100 votes for and 72 votes against the band issue. In the 2nd ward there were 100 .Votes for and 60 votes against the band issue. In the third ward there were 127 votes cast for and 65 votes against the band issue. Motion by Thennes, seconded by Doherty, that Peter Wm. Frett, having received the highest number of votes, be duly elected mayor. Motion carried. Motion by Thennes, seconded by Overton, that Peter J. Doherty be doly elected alderman in the 1st ward. Motion carried. MJotion by Frisby, seconded by Doherty, that Herman J. Kreutzer be duly elected alderman in the 2nd ward. Motion carried. Motion by Doherty, seconded by Thennes, that Robert J. Frisby be duly elected alderman in the 3rd ward. Mlotion carried. Motion by Thennes, seconded by Frisby, that Gerald Carey, having received the highest number of votes, be duly elected city treasurer. Motion carried. Moion by Doherty, seconded by Thennes, that Ray F. Conway be duly elected city clerk. Motion carried. Motion by Frisby, seconded by Doherty, that John McEvoy be duly elected police Magistrate. Motion carried. Motion by Thennes, seconded by Overton, that the bond issue, having received the majority of votes in favor of it, be passed as read. Motion carried.
