We find that the New Era has been looking up the Tilden and Hendricks voters in our place, and has classed Capt. J. E. Beckley as one of them. Had he given the Captain a call he could have assured him to the contrary, and that he is solid for Hayes and Wheeler. Tilden and Hendricks have some warm supporters here and wheth­ er the New Era was interested in fa­ vor of that ticket or looking for voters for the~"Rag Money" ticket we was un­ able to learn.
