• « ; LAtG DAIRY MARKETS. CHEESE.--At the fjjtica on Monday, the averagei attendance was present. Trade was not animated at any time during the day. Buyers were not disposed to bid higher than the rates of last week, and many salesmen held for higher prices. There was the tame tendency to forward; about one- third of the offering was thus disposed* of. The opening bids ran from 8J to ®c.f and progress upward wis slow.--'! The offering aggregated about 9,500, boxes from 85 factories. It was antic^ i pa ted that 10c., would be reached, bui the top of last week was not surpassed. We quote: Extreme price, 9fc; leading factories, 9J<J; average price, 9Jc. BUTTER.--Six packages of creamery sold at 25 cents. CHEESE.--At Little Falls, on Monday last, the offerings were not as large as usual but the tone of the market was good, and business brisk, the market dosing nearly an hour earlier than last week. The feeling among factorv men was much better, owing to the favora ble condition of the weather for manu facturing and keeping. The sales re ported aggregated something over si£ thousand boxes, but it is probable that about two thousand boxes more were sold. Some of the principles buyers however, purchased considerable less than last week. An improvement of Jc. over last week is noted. Competi tion was lively in one factory, the Old Fairfield, which sold for 10c. last week, under a like stimulus. This Week it was bought by the oppsition at 10Jc. Prices ranged as follows: Extreme, lOJc; leading factories, OJc; average, 9*c. Of farm cheese, there were 325 boxes sold at 7 to 9c. BUTTER.--Fifteen tubs of butter were sold, of which four brought 22c; 8 24c; 224c; and one 25c. "The editor of the Vicksburg Her ald, says, rather meekly :"it is hot enough to burn the ears off & brass monkey." Will somebody give him an umbrella A SURE CURE FOR DIARRHCEA. This is to certify that after coming home from California to my family in Chicago I was taken with a diarrhoea.; 1 tried everythingthat was reeominen - ded to me (but did me no good) for over five years, until 1 got two bottles of F. Marcus* Bitters which completely cured me. Robert Forrest,Peter Blane and others can testify the above to be true and no humbug. I have proved it to be equally as good for billious com plaints. It strengthens and invigorates the whole system, carries oft'the bile, and gives warmth to the chilled veins of both old and young. It is the best bitters 1 ever used. Jons PENMAS SJEW.
