Therefore be it ? Resolve I, That said White be informed that he can compromise said claim by - paying to the county the rate of five dollars per week for the full unpaid time up to and including the first six months ! of the year commencing March 19tb, S> 1890, conditioned that said payment be .made immediately. • , t Sup. Sup. Flavin moved that the Purchas ing Agent be allowed twenty-five dallare per .vear more in addition to the fifty dollars already allowed making his salary seventy-five dollars per year. The report of the Grand Jury at Janiz ary Term 1890, on public buildings and grounds made the following report, to-wit: To the Honarable Judge of the Mc Henry County Circuit Court, January Term, 1890: We the Grand Jury of McHenry County resj>ectfully report: We have visited and examined the Jail of said County aud find the same in good repair, well managed with good aud suf ficient; accommodationsand prisoners well cared for. Fxcept that the Jury would recommend that the Womaus cell be so hanged as to connect with sewerage of said Jail.
