MMer the above head br«a» tb« w, c, t. u editor claim* bo ptrt or credit for the Wv5fi Dead from Drink. Ott th« morning of the 9th of May a lying in the hallway of house in the city, a man, .Honk McCosh, dead from drink, lie was at one time the trusted confiden tial associate of A. T. Stewart, and high ly esteemed as one of the most compe tent bttatoees men in the city. In his pe riod of prosperity he became a moderate drinker, the drink habit increased its hold upon him, his occasional sprees be came more frequent and prolonged, he failed in business, was provided for in an auspicious situation with a business friend, but he yielded again and more and more to drink, and finally, pennilesp, and living upon the bounty of others, he died a physical and moral wreck. He was, it is said, related to ex-President McCosh, of Princeton. He furnishes another painful object-lesson for young men, and for all, and his experience should be an impressive warning to all to avoid indulgence, even "moderate" in strong drink.--National Temperance Ad vocate, New York. . A trial told me that I bad found just what I needed. After taking it two or three weeks I was a new man, and I cannot say too much for Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin.
