To the strains of a military march Lieutenant George Adolphns Nugent of the Fourth artillary, U. S. A, and Miss Emma Howard Bacon marched to the altar in the church of the Holy Trinity. The approach of the wedding party was pre­ ceded by the sounding of the reveille on the cornet. The ushers presented arms to the bridesmaids and the party two- stepped down the aisle to the altar.
