Fever is Controlled and Temper ature Made Normal in Above Stated Time. Direct application of our remedy to Affected Lung Tissue; Ours the Only Rational and Ef fective Method. Marvelous Results Obtained by the Use of Newly Discovered Germicidal Remedies. For many years these remedies have been used and tested upon domestic animals infect ed by diseases peculiar to the speoies. On the hog, in hog cholera, on neat cattle, in pleuro pneumonia, etc. From the wonderful results achieved on these animals, the remedies have for some years been used In diseases of the human family, and have shown their efficacy in other diseases. In fact, all diseases that have their origin or causation from germs, whether microbe or fungoid, have been readi ly and rapidly cured by the application of tills new germicide. Its use in the treatment of Lung Oomplaints, also Catarrh, Hay Fever and Asthma, which often, and, in fact, almost always, are * at the botton of the causes of Lung diseases, especially Consumption, has been productive of such wonderful, posi tive and lasting results that it can truthfully be claimed that this heretofore dreaded scourge of humanity, Consumption, has been conquered, and is now no longer hopeless and unsatisfactory from the physician's standpoint. CONSUMPTION CAN BE CURED, as is evidenced every day in OUR TREATMENT OF THIS DISEASE. Re markable progress is made by our patients in such a snort space of time that it is no longer a question. One week's treatment brings about a cessation of all of the symp toms that are so aggravating and distressing. Night sweats cease. Cough diminishes and loses its irritating characteristics, Expec toration becomes free. Increase of strength is noticeable. Fever is lessened or disappears entirely. The temper ature is lowered and soon becomes normal. The bowels become regular in their action and all diarrheal disturbances cease. Sleep is refreshing and natural. The general tone of the system is raised, and the patient eager ly awaits the time of treatment. A natural color soon appears, and the patient shows that nature once again is at work and the re cuperative processes are in full activity. The various centers of infection in the lung tissue are proken up, and the parts become recep tive to the direct application of the remedy. We claim that our method is the only natural and sensible one, and we have proved beyond the preadventure of a doubt that, where heretofore those afflicted by this disease have hopelessly perished in due course of time, such as suffer from this scourge, if they come to us for treatment, need not fear that they will not be cured. WE CURE THEM, and in a very short space of time. There is absolutely no question but that we can do as we claim; To prove this we make the fol lowing proposition: "We will treat any one suffering from Con sumption for one week without pay, and if after such trial of our remedies and methods they find our claims substantiated they may then begin a regular course of treatment." assure all afflicted with CON- bUMPTION that In one short week all of the disturbing and distrasslng symptoms will have been ameliorated and the patient en tered on recovery. No case is too severe for us to cure. Pa tients in all stages of the disease are benefit ed in a short time. Call and be convinced See and converse with patients now under treatment, and with those we have treated. Charges reasonable and within the reach of all. Tactics unheard of before were employed for the sole defeat of the republican candidate1 for governor, Judge Richard Yates. Prac- unbelleved to be possible w«r« MB. FRED H. ROWS, : , Chairman Republican State Committee. thrown in his path; boomerangs, roor backs and absolute prevarication in dulged in with desire to elect Samuel Alsehuler governor. The same of Wil liam Jennings Bryan was sacrificed in this desire. Cartoons were gotten up, issued and sent broadcast through out the state by the democratic leaders with intent to seduce votes by charg ing the republicans with carrying on a "racial war." Other matters were placed in vogue, known full well to every citizen now. All these, and far more, did Richard Yates have to con tend with, and with him his honest, steadfast friends and workers. For seven long weeks was the entile state honeycombed with scores and hundreds of spellbinders, orators and campaign features. The work greatly benefited the canvass of the nominees, and it will long be reme>mbered and pointed to with pride whenever the historic campaign is mentioned. . Regarding the work of tlfe state committee and Chairman Rowe** ef ficiency Judge Yates said in an inter* view after the election: "Leading men of all elements of the party have within the last few days expressed to me their admiration for State Chairman Rowe, At the out set 'it was frequently predicted that, owing to , its new officers, the state central committee would not manage the campaign capably and wisely. It is now conceded by all observers that the contrary has been true, and that the new committee has waged a cam paign the success of which justly en titles it to a rank which could have been expected only from veteran man agers. And it is to be observed that the more closely any given county committee throughout the state ob served and followed the advice and suggestions of the state central com mittee, the better showing at the polls was made by that given county." Pages of history could be writien of his wonderful campaign, and each page a glorious monument to his bravery, honesty and determination of purpose. Hoy, of WoiM-* stock, was in charge of the literature bureau, assisted by his secretary. Charles E. Dole, of Mattoon. During the campaign the committee shipped to the county chairmen throughout the state 100 tons of literature, 200,- 000 lithographs of McKinley and Roosevelt, 500,000 lithographs of Judge Richard Yates, 200,000 colored litho graphs and cartoons, 1,500,000 Yates campaign buttons, 300,000 McKinley and Roosevelt campaign buttons and much other matter. A commodious storeroom was filled with literature, where it was addressed and prepared for shipment. Chairman Hoy had as sociated with him in his bureau W. A. Cristy, of McHenry, and Miss Jean- nette Merebamn, of Chicago, stenog rapher. The shipping department was in charge of and efficiently man aged by William A.
