The springs of red blood are ound in the soft core of the bones called the marrow and some say ted blood also comes from the spleen. Healthy bone marrow and healthy spleen are full of fat. Scott's Emulsion makes new blood by feeding the bone marrow and the spleen with the richest of all fats, the pure cod liver oil. For pale school girls and invalids and for all whose blood is thin and pale, Scott's Emulsion is a pleasant and rich blood food. It not only feeds the blood-making organs but gives them strength to do their proper work. , Send for free sample. SCOTT & BOWNB, 41941s Pearl Street. New York. 50c. and #1.00; all druggist*. Bad tasting medicines disturb the stomach, destroy the appe tite and it is extremely difficult to get children to take them. The Illinois Building will be one of architectural beauty. Standing on an elevation, it will command a sweeping view of the grounds and buildings. The cost of the building is $50,000, and $25,- 000 will be expended in furnishings and decorations, making a magnificent club house for the people of Illinois when visiting the Fair. Great activity is being shown by the State Commission in collecting the ex hibits for the different departments. Exhibits for the agriculture and horti culture departments are being gathered now and stored away. This year's crop is being placed in cold storage to be kept there until the opening of the Fair. There must be a sufficient quan tity of this year's crops stored to keep the space in the building entirely cov ered from the time the fair opens until the 1904 crops are available. One of the interesting exhibits ar ranged for the agriculture department is the display of boy-grown corn. All over the state the farmer boys are pre paring to produce the finest corn that ever peeped from- earth. This exhibit is the result of a contest for the best grown corn in the state, for which there are many prizes. Another exhibit which promisee to attract wide attention by its excellence and thoroughness, is the display of the Illinois Historical society. This exhib it will set forth the history of the en. tire Northwest in painting, sculpture, historical collections and decorations in the Illinois building. . In all departments the work is pro gressing rapidly, and when the fair opens Illinois will be there with aa ex hibit of the highest excellence. A Remarkable Record. Chamberlain's Cough Remedy has a remarkable record. It has been in use for over thirty years, during which time many million bottles have been sold and used. It has long been the standard and main reliance in the treat ment of croup in thousands of homes, yet during all this time no case has ever been reported to the manufacturers in which it failed to effect a cure. When given as soon as the child becomes hoarse or even as soon as the croupy cough appears, it will prevent the at tack. It is pleasant to take, many children like it. It contains no opium or other harmful substance and may be given as confidently to a baby as to an adult.
