That's spring tiredness and will disappear at once if you take Hollisters Rocky Mountain Tea this month. 35 cents, Tea or Tablets. G. W. Besley. Read The Plaindealer "want" ads William H. Anderson, Superintendent of the Anti-Saloon Leagne, gave out the following signed statement: The report that the Anti-Saloon Leagtie has "compromised" or has ac cepted as satisfactory the elimination of the county and precinct features from the Local Option Bill is unwarrant ed and untrue. Equally unfounded is the statement' that, we entertain doubts as to the ultimate passage of the bill. Certain members of the Judiciary Committee who say they are for the Anti-Saloon Leagne bill with the coun ty and precinct features eliminated have nndei taken to give- assurances that the Senate would concur in House amendments. To these gentlemen we proposed that they prove it by securing the passage of the original bill with the county and precinct leatures out and the referendum off, and prepared such a bill for them as a test. On April 7th they undertook to do so. When after five days this substitute did not appear in the Senate, and the Whole question was put off another week, the League had the test, substi tute introduced - by Senator Parker as an amendment to the Townsend bill, Senate Bill 338, which is objectionable to temperance people t.houghout the State.'.:/.; 1 - The League is not asking the Senate to pass any substitutes. It is the op position to Senate Bill 95, which is ask ing something else of the Senate. The League will not press this test substi tute except as against other substitutes, but prepared it and later introduced it for the sole purpose of proving the soundness of its position that the only course consistent with reasonable prob ability of getting any local option legis lation is the passage by the House of Senate,Bill 95 without amendment. As a result of this postponement of the whole question by the Senate till the day after the date fixed for the disposition of Senate Bill 95 by the House committee, the friends of local option in the House hav#> become con vinced thai the Senate does not intend to help the House, and are insisting upon the immediate report of Senate Bill 95 unamended. Frightful Suffering Relieved. Suffering frightfully from the viru lent poison of undigested fpod, C. G, Grayson, of Lula, Miss., took Dr. King's New Life Pills, "with the result," he writes, "that I was cured." All stom ach and bowel disorders give way to their tonic, laxative properties. 25c at N.
