Too much care cannot be used with small children during the hot weather of snmmer months to guard against bowel troubles. As a rule it is only necee sary to give the child a dose of castor oil to correct any disorder of the bowels. Do not use any substitute, but give the old-fashioned castor oil, and see that it is fresh, as rancid oil nauseates and has a tendency to gripe. If this does not check the bowelB give Chamber lain s Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy and then a dose of castor oil, and the disease may be checked in its incipiency and all danger avoided. The castor oil and this remedy should be procured at once" and kept ready for instant use as soon as the first indica tion of any bowel trouble appears. This is the most successful treatment known and may be reled upon with im plicit confidence even in cases of cholera infantum. For sale by all drugists. KMKRA&D PAKK. L. ' . ; o, _ A Continual Strain. Many men and women are constantly subjected to what they commonly term "a continual strain" because of some financial or family trouble. It wears and distresses them both mentally and physically, affecting their nerves badly and bringing en liver and kidney com plaints, with the attendant evils of con stipation. loss of appetite, sleeplessness, low vitality and despondency. They cannot, as a rule, get rid of this "con tinual strain," but they can remedy its health-destroying effects by taking fre quent doses of Green's August Flower. It tones up the liver, stimulates the kid neys, insures healthy bodily functions, gives vim and spirit to one's whole be ing, and eventually dispels the mental or physical distress caused by that "con tinnal strain." Yet it is no unusual sight to see a mother, with babe in arms, cough ing violently and exhibiting all the symp* toms of a consumptive tendency. And why should this dangerous condition ex ist, dangerous^ alike to mother and child, when Dr. Boshee's German Syrup would put a stop to'it at once? No mother qhould be without this old and tried remedy in the house--for its timely use will promptly cure any Inng, throat or bronchial trouble in herself or her chil dren. The worst cough or cold can be speedily cured by German Syrup; so can hoarseness and congestion of the bron chial tubes. The prompt results produced by Cham berlain's Colic* Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy together with its pleasant taste have won for it a place in many households. Mr. W. T. Try it Kidney trouble preys upon the mind, dis- ye6urages aAd lessens ambition; beauty, vigor and cheerfulness soon disappear when the kid neys are out of order or diseased. Kidney trouble has become so prevalent that it is not uncommon for a child to be born afflicted with weak kid neys. If the child urin ates too often, if the urine scalds the flesh or if, when the child reaches an age w;hen it should be "able to control the passage, it is yet afflicted with bed-wetting, depend upon it. the cause of the difficulty is kidney trouble, and the first step should be towards the treatment of these important organs. This unpleasant trouble is due to a diseased condition of the kidneys and bladder and not to a habit as most people suppose. Women as well as men are made mis erable with kidney ; and bladder trouble, and both need the same great remedy. The mild and the immediate effect of Swamp-Root is soon realized. It is sold by drugggists, in .fifty- cent and one dollar sizes. You may have a sample bottle by mail free, also pamphlet tell- Rome of swauip-Root. ing all about it, including many of the thousands of testimonial letters received from sufferers cured. In writing Dr. Kilmer & Co.. Bingh&mt&n, N. Y., be sure and; mention this paper. Don't make any mistake, but remem ber the name, Swamp-Root, Dr. Kil mer's Swamp-Root, and the address, Binghamton, N. Y., on every bottle. Given Up to Die. B. Spiegel, 1804 N. Virginia street, EvanBville, Ind., writes: "Forover five years I was troubled with kidney and bladder affections which caused me much pain and worry. I lost flesh and was all run down, and a year ago bad to abandon work entirely. I had three of the best physicians who did me no good and I was practically given up to die. Foley's Kidney Cure was recom mended and the first bottle gave me great relief, and after taking the sec ond bottle I was entirely cured." G. Mr. Obe Witmer, a prominent druggist of Jop- lin, Mo., in a circular to his customers, says: "There is nothing on the market in the way of patent medicine which equals Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy for bowel complaints. He neglected to take Foley's Kidney Cure at the first signs of kidney trouble, hoping it would wear away, and he was soon a victim ofBright's disease. There is dagger in delay, but if Foley's Kidney Cure is taken at once the symptoms will disappear, the kidneys are strength ened and you are soon sound and well. A. R. Bass, of Morgantown, Ind., had to get up ten or twelve times in the night, and had'a severe backache and pains in the kidneys, and was cured by Foley's Kidney Cure. G. W. Besley.
