Monday--Entry Day. Tuesday--Children's Day. Wednesday--Automobile Day. . Thursday--Military Day. ^ Friday--Derby Day. ? These are the names by which each day of the fair will be known, begin ning Monday, Aug. 28, and continuing until Friday night, Sept. 1. Each day will have its dominating attraction which should not be missed. It will be found that the programs for each day are not sensational and startling merely, nor a show for the amusement of the vulgar, but rather exhibitions designed to educate the masses and stimulate them to higher aims and nobler efforts. The live stock parade begins Tuesday and will continue each day of the fair. It will certainly be worth your while, no matter what your calling or occu pation, to see the splendid specimens of McHenry county's liye stock. It will pay the farmers to turn out and see What their neighbors are doing in the way of raising live stock, and compare the stock with their own. A novelty will be seen at the fair this year in the exhibit of the Racine Hatch er company of Raciue, Wis. A number of incubators and brooders will be on exhibition and chickens will be hatched every day by steam. The exhibits in the agricultural' building will be more numerous and fully interesting as ever. Here will be found the township exhibits and school exhibits. It is expected that the last named will fill the whole north end of the building. The department of antiquity, housed in the old cabin built by Jonathan Imeson in 1886, will be found fully as interesting as last year. Mr. Imeson passed from this life during the year, but a photograph of himself and wife will be on exhibition among the quaint and interesting things to be seen there. In the woman's building will be found the exhibits of ornamental needle work, textile fabrics, fine arts, youth's department, old ladies' work, and the rest room in charge of W. C. T. U. ladies. Everybody is invited to visit this department and feast their eyes upon the infinity of tokens of women'8 brains, grace and loveliness. Let the husbands come and bring their wives and daughters to see what other women are able to do. The horse, cattle, sheep and hog barns and poultry house Will be filled with the best specimens of the various breeds. Already many applications are being received for stalls for the live stock, which promises well for the de partment. Among the exhibits in the manufac tures building the display by the Oliver Typewriter company is assured. The booth has already been decorated for the occasion and it may be anticipated as far surpassing anything ever attempt ed by the company at former fairs held here. It is now assured that the Button Bros, of Lake Geneva will be in attend ance with their $1500 exhibit of rare plants and flowers. It alone will be worth coming to the fair to see. The Mexican theatre, a nice clean at traction, and the Electric theatre or moving picture show are two special attractions that have been secured for this occassion. Entries will close at noon Tuesday the second day of the fair. Already a large number of entries have been re ceived by the secretary, which fact is very pleasant to him as it will relieve him of much work during the rush of the first few days of the fair. Exhibi tors will do well therefote to mail their entries to the secretary a few days be fore the fair and thus make it easier for themselves and for him. The judges have been selected with the sole aim of securing unbiased de cisions. Particular care has been taken to secure not only those who are ex perts in the department in which they are to serve, but who are wholly dis interested. The offcers this year are doing more than ever, if possible, to make the fair a place where the people may meet and exchange views, study the improved methods, meet old friends and make new acquaintances. Its purpose is to keep abreast with advanced agriculture and the trades so that the whole com munity will be able to take front rank and cope with the revolutionizing in fluences that are constantly taking place. ^RIIMJEFIEXIA. Too much care cannot be used with small children during the hot weather of summer months to guard against bowel troubles. As a rule it is only neces sary to give the child a dose of castor oil to correct any disorder of the bowels. Do not use any substitute, but give the old-fashioned castor oil, and see that it is fresh, as rancid oil nauseates and has a tendency to gripe. If this does not check the bowels give Chamber lain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy and then a dose of castor oil, and the disease may be checked-in its incipiency and all danger avoided. The castor oil and this remedy should be procured at once and kept ready for instant use as goon as the first indica tion of any bowel trouble appears. This is the most successful treatment known and may be reled upon with im plicit confidence even in cases of cholera infantum. Many men and women are constantly subjected to what they commonly term "a continual strain" because of some financial or family trouble. It wears and distresses them both mentally and physically, affecting their nerves badly and bringing on liver and kidney com plaints, with the attendant evils of con stipation. loss of appetite, sleeplessness, low vitality and despondency. They cannot, as a rule, get rid of this "con tinual strain," but they can remedy its health-destroying effects by taking fre quent doses of Green's August Flower. It tones up the liver, stimulates the kid neys, insures healthy bodily functions, giyes vim and spirit to one's whole be ing, and eventually dispels the mental or physical distress caused by that "eon tinual strain."
