Revival services have been held at the M. E. church lately, this being the thinl week, conducted by Rev. Bly of Deer- field. He was* assisted Saturday and Sunday last by Supt. Van Dorn of the Life Boat Mission, Chicago, who has been associated with Rev. Bly in mission work for many years past. Supt. Van Dorn was born' full of forcible ideas and presented them in a striking manner He expects to be with usagain soon, and will find a hearty welcome. A fine mu­ sician, his talent is ready to be used in every possible way to help the Master's work. Rev. Bly has conducted services here every Sunday since Easter and has been very faithful. He came knowing well the financial condition of the church work here and risked even the chance of being paid his expenses. He has succeeded not in pleasing all but in doing a good work here, a good work as it has changed the course of more than one life. Tuesday, accompanied by. Rev. Bly, a delegation of men visited Rich­ mond and conferred with the trustees of this church, they being Mrs. Annua Bowers and Geo. McConnell.
