R, Shelt, Ridge field, 111. y*- •im 0-' ' •a&i ^the time is drawing near when the people of the great state of Illinois most oast their ballots for the men they want to represent them in the legislature. The time has come when the people ought to vote for men who, if elected, will throw influence npon the side of justice, honesty, sobriety and political righteousness. Snch a man will represent the prohi bition party this fall in the 8th district and will ask for the suffrage of the people of Lake, McHenry and Boone oonnties who are willing to use their influence for the everlasting destruc tion of the greatest evil in the world. The man who will represent the pro hibition party in the 8th district is a ruling elder in the Presbyterian church at Bidgefield. He has been faithful in the discharge of his religious duties and he will be faithful in the discharge of his politicalduties if he issent to the legislature. He is worthy the respect, confidence and support of the voters of Lake, Mc Henry and Boone counties, for he is an upright and honest man. In these days when so much rascality and dishonesty is being made public, when so many men in every walk of life have proven themselves unworthy of confidence because they were dishon est at heart, it is refreshing to have hon est, manly men enter the political arena, and all good citizens ought to consider it a privilege to yoto for aa honest man. The man so well fitted by nature and a successful business career to fill a position of honor and trust, who will be honest and true to the party he repre- •ents, labor faithfully /or the overthrow of the liquor traffic and fearlessly lift up the banner of political righteousness tp the honorable N. J. Garrison, of Eidnefield, 111. Danger from the Plague. It prevents Pneumonia, cures LaGrippe, gives wonderful relief in Asthma and Hay Fever, and makes weak lungs strong enough to ward off Consumption, Coughs and Colds. 50c and $1.00. Guaranteed by N. H. VkMUMWda Hare Kidney fnwUe * and Don't Know it. Bow To Find Out. Pill a bottle or common glass with your water and let it stand twenty-four- hours; a sediment or set tling indicates an unhealthy condi tion of the kid neys; if it stains your linen it is evidence of kid ney trouble; too frequent desire to pass it or pain in the back is also roof that the kidneys and blad der are out of order. What to Sft There is comfort in the knowledge so often expressed, that Dr. Kilmer's Swamp- Root, the great kidney remedy fulfills every wish in curing rheumatism, pain in the back, kidneys, liver, bladder and every part of the urinary passage. It corrects inability to hold water and scalding pain in passing it, or bad effects following use of liquor, wine or beer, and overcomes that unpleasant necessity of being compelled to go often during the day, and to get up many times during the night. The mild and the extra ordinary effect of Swamp«Root is soon realized. It stands the highest for its won derful cures of the most distressing cases. K you &eed a medicine you should have the best.
