R. & N. R R. train from Pendleton to LeGrande, Ore.," writes Sam A. Garber, a well known traveling man. "I was in the smoking depart ment with some other traveling men when one of them went out into the coach and came back and said, 'There is a woman sick unto death out there.' I at once got up and went out, found her very ill with cramp colic, so bad, in fact, that I was almost afraid to take the risk; her hands and arms were drawn up so you could not straighten them, and with a deathlike look on her her face. Two or three ladies were working with her and giving her whis ky. I went to my suit case and got my bottle of Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy (I never travel without it), ran to the water tank, put a double dose of the medicine in the glass, poured some water in it and stir red it with a pencil; then I ha.i quite a time to get the ladies to let me give it to her, but 1 succeeded. I could at once see the effect and I worked with her, rubbing her hands, and in twenty min utes I gave her another dose. By this time we were almost into LeGrande, where I was to leave the train. I gave the bottle to the husband to be used in case another dose should be needed, but by the time the train ran into LeGrande she was all right and I received the thanks of every passenger in the car." But with that way, two treatments, must be combined. One is local, one is constitu tional, but both are important, both essential. Dr. Shoop's Night Cure Is the Local. Dr. Shoop's Restorative, the Constitutional. The former--Dr. Shoop's Night Cure--is a topical mucous membrane suppository remedy, while Dr. Shoop's Restorative is wholly an internal treat ment. The Restorative reaches throughout the entire system, seeking the repair of all nerve, all tissue, and all blood ailments. The "Night Cure", as its name implies, does its work while you sleep. It soothes sore and inflam ed mucous surfaces, heals local weaknesses and discharges, while the Restorative, eases nervous excitement, gives renewed vigor and ambition, builds up wasted tissues, bringing about renewed strength, vigor, and energy. Take Dr. Shoop's Restorative--Tablets or Liquid--as a general tonic to the system. For positive local help, use as well Dr. Shoop's Night Cure N. H.
