In 1887 he came to this county and located on the farm east of town, which has ever since been his home. On February 6, 1896, he was married to Miss Mary Watson in Chicago. She and two adopted children, three sisters and one brother survive him, He was a well to-do farmer and leaves valuable property. The fnneral was held from the Epis­ copal church at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. R. E. TenBroeck of Windom. There was a large attendance of neighbors and friends present to pay their last respects. The interment was in the Slayton cem­ etery, r-' Want Column.
