The Hillside clnb, an organization of sportsmen residing in Elgin, has sold its property at Fox lake, consisting of a lot and hunting booth. The purchaser is Edward H. Knudson of Chicago, who paid $1,500 for it and will erect a sum­ mer residence thereon. The property has been owned by the club for twenty years or more and was sold because of the encroachment of summer residents and society people on the lake. The club will keep ap its organization and will search for a location in the wilds of Wisconsin or Michigan.
