When Grip attacks, as you value your life, don't delay getting Dr. King's New Dis covery. "One bottle cured me," writes A. L. It is feared that the work of years by the Illinois state game commission to stock the fields and forests with quail has been nullified, in part at least, by the destruction caused by the extreme cqld weather of December and January. Farmers report that the dead birds are numerous, the melting snow of the past week disclosing the bodies by hundreds. It is feared that a large majority of those which were not fed or which did not find adequate shelter have perished. Money five hundr loan on real estate in sums of hut discourages and lessen s ambition; beauty, vigor and cheerful ness soon disappear when the kidneys are out of order or dis eased. ,, Kidney trouble has become so prevalent that it is not uncom mon for a child to be born afflicted with weak kidneys. If the child urinates toooften, if the urine scalds the flesh, or if, when the child reaches an age when it should be able to control the passage, it is yet afflicted with bed-wet ting, depend upon it, the cause of the diffi culty is kidney trouble, and the first step should be towards the treatment of these important organs. This unpleasant trouble is due to a diseased condition of the kidneys and bladder and not to a habit as most people suppose. Women as well as men are made miser able with kidney and bladder trouble, and both need the same great remedy. The mild and the immediate effect of Swamp-Root is soon realized. It is sold by druggists, in fifty- cent and one-dollar size bottles. You may have a sample bottle by mail free, also a pamphlet telling ill about Swamp-Root, including many of the thousands of testi monial letters received from sufferers who found Swamp-Root to be just the remedy needed. In writing Dr. Kilmer & Co., Binghamton, N. Y., be sure and mention this paper. Don't make any mistake, but remember the name, Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root, and the address, Binghamton, N. Y., on every bottle. • Home ol Swamp-Root. Former MeHenry Man In I>«n(c«r. Frank Sutton, brother of Robert J. Sutton of this place, and at one time a resident of this vicinity, but now an Alabama farmer, is living in fear of his life and will return North soon if the Crackers, who have warned him to leave the country under penalty of death, do not let up. Mr. Sutton left Elgin for the South about two years ago. A few months after his arrival there a northern man appeared in the community and located near Sntton. The two natur ally became companions and it was found that the newcomer was some what aggressive. He became* involved in controversies. Both received threat ening letters and several warnings were posted on their premises to leave at once. Two weeks ago an old woman residing in the neighborhood told Sutton that an organization was being formed to drive them from the country. Last week when returning from the conntry postoffice he was fired at from ambush and two bullets passed close to him. He could hear the sing of each bullet as it cut the air. He lost no time in get ting home and securing his rifle. Soon afterward he learned that they bad way laid and killed the other northern man in his own dooryard. It is a dangerous thing to take a cough medicine containing opiates that merely stifle your cough instead of curing it. Foley's Honey and Tar loosens and cures the cough and expels the poisonous germs, thus preventing pneumonia and consumption, Refuse substitutes and take only the genuine Foley's Hon ey and Tar in yellow packages.
