The Dorr township convention meets with the Baptist Sunday school at Woodstock next Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. McHenry county has been awarded one of the delegates to the world's con vention at Washington, D. C., May 19- 24, by the state committee. Our coun ty secretary, Mrs. E. A. Harrison, has been chosen our representative and it has been thought best to secure the amount to pay the necessary railroad fare by a voluntary offering among the schools, thus giving the individual schools an interest in the representative and not leaving this to be met from the luuus of the association. THE RILEY CONVENTION. At the Riley township convention, which met with the Riley Center Sun day school last Sunday afternoon, the attendance was fine and tbe interest excellent. * ~, The county president, secretary and snperintendent of adult work, were present and discussed the county work. Dr. Miller, for many years president of the County Sunday School associ ation, was a leading spirit in tb£ con vention. Mrs. Wilson, whose efforts put Mc Henry county at the head when she was at the head of that department, was present and assisted in the discus sion of the home department work. Mrs. Corson was Elected president and Miss Jennie Nelson secretary of the township association, with a fnll corps of department heads. Riley Sunday school has a large men's class and they have a primary depart ment that enrolls thirly-slx, with a cradle roll of twenty-six more. .Mrs. Mackey, whose sand tables are famous all over the county, also has charge pf the home department of twenty mem bers. The Sound Sleep of Good Healtly The restorative power of sound Isleep can not be over estimated and any ail ment that prevents it is a menace to health. J. L. Soothers, Eau ClAire, Wis., says: "For*a long time I have been unable to sleep soundly nights, be cause of pains across my back and soreness of my kidneys. My appetite was very poor and my general condition was much run down. I have been's^ak- ing Foley's Kidney Pills but a sh^rt time and now sleep as sound as a rock. I eat and enjoy my meals, and my general condition is greatly improved. I can honestly recommend Foley's Kidney Pft^s as I know they have cured me." Frank Masquelet. Make Your Corn Contracts Now. Those contemplating raising sweet oorn for the McHenry canning factory are urgently requested to sign up their contracts at once. Hanly Bros, want to contract for at least two hundred acres and tbe farmers will do well to see Geo. H. Hanly at once and sign up. There is money in the raising of sweet corn, and by signing a contract and living up to it you are not only benefitting your self, but lending material aid to Mo- Henry's coming boom. Yon, too, Mr. Farmer, are invited to join the boosters. OF « PERSONAL NATURE WHOM WE ENTERTAI) WHERE WE GO. AND NtaHmirjr iBtertftlm a Utft Ooupujr of t Viilton During the We*It--Whom We ' BnUrtaio.
