In a well played and interesting game of the national pastime, the reorganized McHenry team on last Sunday after noon at the McHenry baseball park de feated the Emerald Park aggregation of ball tossers. The visitors showed a re verbal of form from that displayed at Johnsburgh on the previous Sunday, but nevertheless made McHenry hnstle to win. Rossman and Freund were the points for McHenry, while Conway and Big Smoke" did the artillery work for the Emeialds. Rossman pitched a most effective game up until the eighth in ning, holding the opponents without a score until that time. He seemed to weaken a bit in the last two innings, however, and allowed the visitors to register five tallies. His support was very creditable.
