•7rf^ V "•>: Ike NcHenry Plaindealer § OF FINE JEWELRY AT RIGHT PRICES MKI III order to encourage early Holiday Gift buying and lessen the business rush and confusion that always comes at Christmas time, we have decided this week to show our new and complete line of latest patterns just re ceived which ordinarily we do not unpack at so early a date. Please bear in mind that we show, in this advertisement, only a few of the thou sands of things that we offer. A visit to this store not only means a saving to you but also an opportunity to make selections from the most de pendable and up-to-date line of Jewelry in McHenry. Bring your friends. mm . I wr^fesTHE LASTING IMPRINT OF As Jewelers, we must tell yon tKat it is QU.ALITY rather than price which should be considered in buying a watch. When we sell you a ROCKFORD WATCH, we know we have given you the highest possible value for your money, even if it is a trifle more than you might pay for an inferior watch at some department store, or mail order house. \ Faveway sewing machines We want the women of McHenry and vi cinity to see and inspect the Paveway Sewing Machine. This machine is not only one of the best sewing machines on the market today, but is also one of the cheapest, not in con struction, but in price. We also handle the White, Wheeler & Wilson and the Singer makes. Let us talk with you on this subject. We are placing the Paveway, five drawers, drop head machine, on sale at $14.75 PUBLISHED RVJSRY TBVK§ 1> A ¥JBJF . P. a. SCHREINER, OfflMh Buk Building. The pupils of the McHenry pnblic school will give an operetta, entitled "On Plymouth Rock," at Central opera honse Wednesday evening, Nov. 38. Everybody come and help make this event a success. Last Friday evening, as was predicted by the boys, the honors of the basket ball game went to the home team. As usual, the girls let everyone in the vicinity know that they bad good voices. This helped tire boys to win the game. The credit goes to all the players, as each one did excellent work. The North Shores showed a weakness on baskets, but took the defeat bravely. The score was 38 to 14. ANOTHER BRILLIANT VICTORY. On last Friday evening the McHenry team of basket ball players defeated the North Shore Electric basket ball team by the score of 33 to 14.
