Will iams, consti tuting a quorum. The clerk presented l ists of t laims for support of paupers and for labor, tees and supplies, which l ists upon mo­ tion of S.ip. Whipple were ordered re­ ferred to the proper committees with­ out reading. Kev. J . l->. Mr. K. 1'". Booth. We hereby recommend the unused fxir- t .on of Air. Booth's salary to revert hack to the general fund of the rnuntv. We fur 'her recommend that the of l ice of Assistant County Superintendent be discontinued and that the ("ounty Su­ perintend, l i t be given addit ional com­ pensation to employ and pay help at such t imes and on such occasions vm is necessary to properly transact the tms- iness of the office, and provided that this plan of operation will maintain the I resent efficiency of the schools und promote their continued advancement as determined by the judgment of the County Jioard. He further recommend that this addi­ t ional compensation for oft ice h<lp shall be jou.oo per month, and that the coun­ ty Clerk is hereby authorized to draw an order on the- county treasury In I favor of the county superintendent, for I Raid suni at the end of each month's service.
