A picnic luncheon was spread on the lawn and was a most enjoyable feature of the day. Everyone is cordially invited to at­ tend the old folks' service next Sun­ day whether old or young, but the inornipg service will be conducted for the sj»ecial benefit of (he old folks of the community. The evening meeting will be addressed by Mr. James Iv. Shields of Chicago, who is the state superintendent o! the Anti-Saloon league of Illinois. Mr. Shields is a splendid speaker one thoroly informed in the |>oliucs of the state as well as an ardent worker in the interests of local option.
