Sadie Elm a Hobart,, youngest. daugh ter of Henr,y and Delia Hobart, was born Dec. 6, 1889, at the old homestead in McHenry township, McHenry coun ty, 111., where she died Dec. 10, 1911, aged twenty-two years and four days. She attended the Ostend school until fourteen years of age, then the Mc Henry school, driving the dis&ange from her home to school sod back, about four miles, each school day and graduating with a class of four in 1908. $he taught one term of school at Bull Valley and took a school last fall, but on account of poor health #M per suaded to give it up. Her sunny disposition, with a happy smile and pleasant word "for everyone, made for her many friends. The es teem in which she was held was shown by the many beautiful floral tributes and the large number of sorrowing Mends who met to pay their last re spects to their departed friend. Besides the heartbroken parents, she leaves one sister, Nina G. Sher man, one brother, Roy B. Hobart, and a host- of bereaved relatives and friends to imourn her early demise. Services were held at the late home, Prof. E. C. Fisher of Dundee officiate ing. The singing was very sweetly nd appropriately rendered by Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Walsh.
