E. Dike the past two weeks. Church Notes There was' an attendance of sev­ enty-one at Sunday school last Sun­ day and $1.95 collection. The business meeting of the Y. P. S. C. E. was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Carlson Tuesday evening, Oct. 10. Next Sunday, Oct. 15, is Go to Church Sunday. Mr. Parker's theme will be "Remember the Sabbath Day." Special music is being prepared , by the senior choir. The Ladies' Aid*" Society meets with Mrs. Smith Brown Thursday aft­ ernoon, Oct. 19. The bride is' the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Miller and has always resided here, where she is well and favorably known, while the groom is the son of Mr. andN Mrs. Jacob Freund, who reside in McHenry. Hammond and wife of Alden motored to Harvard Sunday and took in S. L. Lincoln, wife and daughter, Clara, and came over and spent the day at Henry Hobart's. Anyone wishing to see a fine piecp of cement work should call at Henry Hobart's or Watren Francisco's and take a look at their silos. They are well worth traveling quite a distance to see. R. H. Richardson will have the largest husking this year of anyone in this vicinity not having filled a silo. Mr. Cornwell comes next with about thirty acres after his silo is filled.
