Goddard of Moline visited his mother and other relatives here Sat­ urday and Sunday, Mr. Goddard made the trip overland by motorcycle. D., spent a few days last week with relatives and friends here. Mrs. P. H. Conway, a resident of this vicinity for several years, died at her honle here Monday evening, June 25, after a long illness .She is survived by her husband and eight children, who have the sympathy of all in this sad bereavement.
