Harrison and Mrs. Louis Schroeder, at Ringwood is one of the twenty-five 4-H clubs in McHenry county and It has been active during the past year. The club was started with a membership of ten; girls which has increased to a much larger number of interested girls. Many interesting points are shown in the annual report of the 4-H dubs in the county. There are 283 girls enrolled in the work and of this numbfer 249 are rural girls, 34 are girls from towns with a population over 2,000. The grade school now has a new piano, which will be much enjoyed by the teachers and pupils. Work at the public schools is progressing nicely with new additions and improvements being made. The art teacher, Miss Ropp, put on an exhibit of the art work done thus far, for the members of the school board Tuesday night. Supt. C. H. Duker and Mr. Mc- Cracken attended an athletic meeting at Woodstock Monday evening.
