Stated that the Johnsburg bridge alone would cost an estimated amount of $1000.00 for cleaning and painting if such contract was let to parties engaged In this work. Mr. Corbrldge. a representative of a company engaged in this class of work, stated that in his opinion the estimate was not too high. Mr. Smith representing the machinery company stated that the cost of a machine suitable to the needs of this County for the purpose mentioned would cost about $850.00 fully equipped. Following the discussion, it was moved by Supr. Ackjtnan and seconded by Supr. Turner that the question of the purchase of spch machinery be referred to the Committee on Roads and Bridges with power to act. And- lhe roll being called the motion was declared unanimously carried.
