Forty ladies were present at this unusually large and pleasant meeting with several out-of-town guests present. Ten tables of bridge were in play with prizes awarded to Mrs. J. J. Rothermel, Mrs. James Bouril and Mrs. F. O. Gans. Guest prizes were awarded to Mrs. Ebbsen and Mrs. Hendrickson. Delicious refreshments were served at the close of the afternoon. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emily Merchant, and several children- Funeral services were held at the home Thursday afternoon with burial at Solon Mills.
