The undersigned members of the road and bridge committee for said County, would beg leave to submit the foitowiiig report on the matters before them: That we met at Woodstock, Illinois, on the 25th day of April. 1936, nnd examined petitions regarding pole lines along State Aid Roads and turned them over to the State's Attorney for further negotiations. We also considered and looked over the site of a proposed 2 mile addition to the State Aid System of Roads in Seneca Townshtp and we favor said addition if satisfactory arrangements can be made for additional right of way at two right ai^gie turns near the Evergreen School. We also inspected roads In the west part of the County. Your Committee also11 met and Inspected roads on the County Patrol System on April SOth and May 5th. The past winter proved to be very destructive to roads in general and a large amount of gravel ought to be used to repair, this damage. We noted that the County's 3 sections of asphalt came through in good condition not a single break. Some bridge and culvert repairs also need to be made. We agpin met on the 9th day of May, 1936 at Woodstock, Illinois, and audited and paid bills chargeable to the McHenry County Patrol System of roads, of a general nature including insurance $1442.36, supplies and repairs and overhauling County owned machinery totaling the sum of $2281.87.
