With her nufther, Mrs. John 'Karls, she -spent the time on a motor trip north and east, m which 1,300 miles was covered. Leaving "McHenry cm ^Monday, Mrs. Karls and her daughter motored to Detroit, Mich., where they visited the former's niece. After spending the night there, they traveled on anto Canada, where they saw Niagara Falls. On Wednesday "they crossed over to the American ^sitte t>f the falls, where they visited pohrts 6i interest and then went on to Erie, Pa., where they spent 'the night vrtth friends. On Thursday they motored to Fort Wayne, Ind., where they visited friends cf Miss Karls and returned home Friday, after having a most delightful vacation trip.
