Brown, representing a delegation, of citizens from Ringwood, Illinois, presented petitions, signed by approx- :mately 200 residents and property owners of Ringwood and the Wonder Lake vicinity, requesting the improvement of the road from Illinois Route No. 31 to Barnard's Mill. Mr. Brown stated that this improvement was very badly needed, due to the spontaneous growth 'f Wonder Lake: that a recent" survey ihows that there are being built approxmately 150 oottaees and homes in this 'icinitv yearly. Supr. Stevens of Richmond Township, stated that it was his opinion that this improvement "hould be made; that McHenrv Township was one of the largest tax paying 'ownshins in the Countv and that there •was at this time over $4000.00 collected annually in license fees in said Township by the County.
