Burdoch at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Kosinski in Chicago. Forty-five guests were present from Chicago, Forest Park, McHenry, Cary and Beloit, Wis. Decorations were especially lovely and novel. The living room was centered with an umbrella of pink petals from which radiated pink streamers with a beautiful and useful gift at the end of each. A buffet supper was served at eleven o'clock. The table with its lace covered cloth was prettily decorated with pink and white sweet peas in silver bowls,\ while pink napkins and nut cups in the form of water liliea, completed the table appointments. Johnson held open house at their home on Main street Saturday afternoon and evening in observance of their silver wedding anniversary. The day was significant in that it also marked the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Johnson. The home was beautifully decorated for the occasion. Huge baskets of peonies, ires, red roses and other spring flowers lent a festive note. Tea was served from a lace covercd table centered with a bowl of roses, ferns and columbine of delicate shade.
