Section 12 Good Order to be Preserved Any person giving or conducting any exhibition, show or amusement shall preserve good order in ao.<J about the place of his exhibition, show or amusement, and if necessary for such purpose shall employ (at his own expense) sufficient police force for this purpose. Neglect or failure to so maintain and preserve good order shall subject such license to forfeiture, in the discretion of the President of the Board of Trustees of such Villa ®*. This Section shall not be construed to apply to cabarets, floor shows, dances, or other entertainment given in any tavern licensed under the ordinances of the Village of Lily Lake, where no admission fee is charged for the entrance of persons to such room or place where such cabaret, floor show, dance or other entertainment is given. Section 17 Lewd Shotrs, Lewd Conduct j)t • Dance Halls and Taverns Any person or persons having a license to give, or who shall give any show,or entertainment of any kind or nature within said Village of Lily Lake, who shall give or make, or permit or allow within his said show or entertainment any other person to give or make any lewd exhibition, either of person or animal, or any exhibition contrary to decency and good morals, shall be fined in any sum not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200.00), and his, her or their said license shall be immediately revoked. It shall be the duty of the owner or proprietor of any dance hall, or tavern, or person in charge of the same to see to it that there shall be no lewd or indecent conduct within his said dance hall or tavern while a dance is in progress therein, and that no boisterous, loud or indecent language be used therein, and that no person in scant attire, or who, either in word or actions conducts himself or herself in a loud, indecent and unseemly manner be allowed or permitted to remain within said dance hall or tavern.* Section 18 Police to Have Free Access to Halls Shows, Dance Halls and Taverns For the purpose of enforcing the provisions of this Ordinance, all police officers of said Village, when in uniform, shall have free access to all shows, entertainments and performances of every kind, and to the room and building in which all such shows and entertainments are being held, and to all tents and enclosures wherein any show or entertainment is being held. The President, and all members of the B^ard of Trustees of said Village shall also have free access to all such places, for the purpose of preserving order or enforcing the ordinances of said Village. Th« Fire Marshal shall also have free access to all such places for the purpose of inspection, and all special officers, whether in uniform or not, having the commission of the President of the Board of Trustees as Special Police, shall have free access to all such buildings and places, for the purpose of preserving order and of enforcing the ordinances of the said Village, Section 19 Word "Entertainment" Defined The word "Entertainment" used herein shall be taken to mean and include theatrical and other exhibitions, shows and amusements whereby any person or persons shall act, play or perform any play, opera or other dramatic or musical composition, or give performances or exhibitions of any kind for gain. Section 20 Revocation of License Thfe President of the Board of tees shall immediately revoke the license of any person licensed under the provisions of this Ordinance who shall be guilty of a violation of any of the ordinances of said Village, or any law of the State of Illinois with reference to the conducting of such entertainment, dance or other performace, or with reference to the conducting of the room or place in which such entertainment, dance or other performance is given. No part of the license fee shall be Refunded on such revocation, but the same shall be forfeited as an additional penalty for the violation of such ordinance or State law. Section 21 Penalty shall violate any Hie provisions of this Ordinance for which no penalty is herein provided, shall be f.ned not less than five (8) dollar* nor more than one hundred (1Q<0) dollar* for each offense. The operation of said garbage disposal system shall be under the supervision of the Street and Alley jC^inittee of the Boara of Trustee*. ' • Section 2 • v:. >' Receptacles Required It shall be the duty of every owner or occupant of any house, store building, flat or apartment, tenement or lodging, or where animal or vegetable food is prepared, served or sold, at all times to maintain in good order and repair a separate receptacle or receptacles for garbage and a separate receptacle or receptacles for ashes and similar refuse. Provided that this section shall not apply to any minor under the age of sixteen (16) years who may enter said premises upon - a lawful errand, sent by parent or guardian or other person having |he lawful custody of said minor, but in such case, said minor shall be required to quit said premises immediately on the performance ofjii^h errand, and shall not play at rffty game within said premises. Section 5 " Penalties Whoever shall violate any Section of this Ordinance shall be, deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined, not less than five (5) dollars, nor more than one hundred (100) dollars for each offense, and in addition thereto, if it be a licensed operator, shall have his license revoked by the President of the Board of Trustees, which revocation if it be a first offense, shall be for a period of thirty days, and for a second or succeeding off«nse, shall be for the term of such license. Section 4 Collection by Village The garbage disposal system of the Village may collect and dispose oi garbage, ashes and miscellaneous refuse in accordance with such rules and regulations as to service and rates of charge as may be approved by the Board of Trustees from time to time. No owner, occupant or lessee of any premises in the Village shall be entitled to such service from the Garbage Disposal System who has not complied fully with all of the provisions of this Ordinance, and with the rules and regulations for garbage disposal as approved by the Board of Trustees. Section 5 Payment Fees Fees for garbage collection service shall be due and payable quarterly, on dates set by the Board of Trustees, or the Chairman of the Street and Alley Committee, provided, however, that said Board of Trustees may require that fees for garbage collection service to stores, restaurants, hotels and other establishments where the rates for such service are higher than those charged for households, shall be due and payable monthly. Section 9 Non-Payment of Flil If any person, firm, or corporation ULY LAKyRDHUKE CRUELTY TO ANIMALS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ULY LAKE, IN THE COUNTY OF McHENRY AND STATE OF ILLINOIS, IN MANNER FOLLOWING, That is to say: • '•'A'-'-;] Section 1 • ' Cruelty to Ansmab No .|>erson shall cruelly treat animal in the Village of Lily Lake, in any way; any person who inhumanly beats, underfeeds, overloads or aband ons any animal shall be guilty of a violation of this Ordinance,. Section 2 Dangerous Animals It shall be unlawful to permit any dangerous animal or vicious animal of any kind to run at large within said Village of Lily Lake. Exhibition or parade of animals which are ferae naturae in law may be conducted only upon securing permit from the Board of Trustees. Section 3 Animals Disturbing Peace a Nuisance It shall be unlawful to harbor or keep any animal which disturbs the peace by lou'd noises at hay time of the day or night. Section 4 Estrays A«y abandoned dog, or unlicensed dog, or any cattle, swine, sheep, goats or fowl, or stray cats, running at large within the Village of Lily Lake, shall be impounded by the Police Department. The Police Department shall establish and maintain such pound as may be necessary for the impounding of such animals, and may, when occasion requires, rent, at the expense of said Village, suitable building or other quarters for tfce impounding of any such animals, and when so established, rented or maintained by said Police Department, the same shall be the Village Pound. Section 5 Diseased Animals N® domestic animal afflicted with a contagious or infectious disease shall be allowed to run at large, or to be exposed in any public place whereby the health of man or beast may ba affected within the limits of said Village of Lily Lake, nor shall such diseased animal be shipped or removed from the premises of its owner, except under the supervision of the Board of Health of said Village or the State Veterinarian, and no such diseased animal shall be brought into said Village. It is hereby made the duty of the Board of Health of said Village to secure said disposition of any diseased animal and such treatment of affected premises as to prevent the communication of, and spread of the contagion or infection, except in cases where the State Veterinarian is empowered to act; and in all such cases the Board of Health shall co-operate with the State Veterinarian, so far as such cooperation may be necessary to the protection of the health of the citizens of said Village, and the spread of such contagious disease. Section 6 Diseased Animals - Hsuing No person shall cause or allow any stable or place where any cow, horse or other animal is, or may be kept, to become unclean, filthy nor unwholesome, nor shall allow any animal or animals to be therein while infected with any disease, contagious or pestilential, among such animals, without a perrhit from the Board of Health of said Village, or the State Veterinarian of. the State of Illinois. Section 7 Certain Animals Prohibited Running at Large No domestic animal of the species of horse, mule, ass, cattle, sheep, goat, lar ($1.00) nor more than ten dollars ($10.00) for each and every animal so allowed to run at large. Whoever shall violate any of the provisions of this Ordinance for which no penalty is herein provided, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than twentyfive dollars ($25.00) for each -offense. Section T Nuisance Nothing in this Ordinance contained shall be held to relieve any person, firm or corporation from liability for creating or maintaining a nuisance under the provisions of any other part of this ordinance, or of any ordinance of said Village. Section 8 Penalty Any person, firm, or corporation viother domestic fowl shall be allowed to run at large, or go unrestrained within the Corporate Limits of the Village of Lily Lake. Section 8 "> ..
