Reese, chief deputy shertiff for ten years, this week announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for sheriff in the primaries, April 14. Deputy Sheriff Reese is completing eight years as chief deputy under Sheriff Lester Edinger and served two years as chief deputy under Sheriff Henry A. Nulle. In the primaries of 1934, Reese lost a close decision for the G. O. P. nomination to Henry A. Nulle by 76 votes, ft w&s a three-way race with George Ehlnrt of Crystal Lake running third.
