SERVES IN CHELSEA (Photo by Wotjrlck), HAROLD NELSON Above is a picture of Harold Nelson of this city, son of Mr. and Mrs. Magnus Nelson. Harold entered service a year ago in July and has been serving at Chelsea, Mass., since tat October. A pharmacist third class, he enjoyed a furlough at his home the first week in April. WE HONOR OUR SERVICEMEN This week it has been our endeavor to honor past and present veterans of McHenry township of four wars. Naturally, the compiling of such a list was not an easy task since there are .to complete records in the county. To obtain the honor roll from the first three wars we consulted old veterans and files. For the-names of those now serving we consulted our own records, the township honor roll and friends. To compile this list has been such an undertaking that it is impossible* to make an absolutely complete list, To those on our honor roll, living and dead, as well as those we may have missed, we honor you on Memorial Day. The (*) after some of the name* calls our attention to those who mpdft the supreme sacrifice. , * LEGION CARNIVAL . Plans are steadily progressing for the July 4 Legion carnival to be held this summer. Paul Yanda is general chairman and James Lennon is te charge of the faun eanfrt....' • ; •
