Is a'gap in the asphalt . road, which was left ..a* a, gravel road for about 300 feet because of the sharp curve and right angle turn at the State line. The Twin Lake officials agreed to secure the right of way to the north or the State line and construct a new black top road if we would co-operate .<>11 our side of the State line. The^Kenos^ a County Highway Department had its machinery nearby a,nd agreed to do the work and (bill McHenry Countv . V S c<>'st of work done on our side of the State line. We agreed t cooperate Wij;h them as to the base an., alignment and would put on the asphalt top on.,,our portion of the road next-- season. The.County Supt. of Highways reports that the work' -is completed butthe bills have not been presented by Kenosha County. We again met on ther20th fdav of cic-- tober. The Lake, County official/! assured us that they would builiKthe road and, in ftict. had already put 1n sonie of the culverts and that the right of way was needed.
