That article reminds me of the time Mr. Anglese rode a horse at the head of the parade during our Homecoming game last fall. The C. Y. An unscheduled, but thrilling game was seen by a large number of spectators as the McHenry Warriors clashed with the Town Co-ops in the M. C. H. S. gym last Friday. At the end of the first quarter the Warriors led the Co-ops 11 to 7 (I won't give you a play by pla\ account of the game.) This didnrt keep the Co-ops down, though, because at the end of the half found the opposition two baskets ahead of the orange and black, with a score of 21 to 17. The Warriors tobk the lead in the third quarter, but in the final quarter the red and white jumped ahead. With seconds remaining "Sonny" Miller put the air filled bladder in the basket twice putting the high school Warriors ahead of the town team 44 to 41. Saturday, March 2, is the date, of the district solo contest, which will be held at Waukegan. As the Warrior did, and I know everyone else will, we wish the McHenry contestants the very best of luck!
