Renich of Woodstock and Charles Relhansperger of McHenry. The Chairman stated that the Compi ehensive Zoning - Ordinance now on file in the County Clerk's office and before this Board should be carefully considered by each Supervisor and that he would advise thait during the next month that they should give the matter careful consideration and that with the Board's permission, he would extend the time for the adoption of the Comprehensive Zoning Commission to the August, 1946 meeting of the Board oi Supervisors. After some further dlncussion with regard to said matter. It was regularly moved by Supr. Nolan and duly seconded by Asst. Supr. MeConneil that all matters pertaining to County Zoning and to the adoption of a Com' prehenslVe Zoning Ordinance be refer red back to the Zoning Commission for report at the August, 1946 meeting of this Board. The low bid lor A-l specification asphalt surfacing on the road leading south of Crystal Lake--Town of Algonquin, approximately 7-10 of a mile. Suburban Oil Company, 92,364.90. The oiling of approximetaly 6 milea of road north of Village of Chemung in Town of Chemung, low bidder 'being George Leriharts of Crystal Lake, SIllinois, 95,843.20. We awarded the improvements to the above named low bidders and authorised the Chairman of this Board and the County Clerk to sign the contracts and approve the bonds on behalf of McHenry County, Illinois, subject to the approval of the State Division of Highways. The seal coat work on the asphalt road that leads south out of Greenwood Village is under way and w£ inspected same on the 7th day of August, 1946. The work appeared to be satisfactory and of nice appearance. However. there have been so many requestsfrom the Town Highway Commissioners for thp help of the County's machinery jtnd operators on the State-Town program as to preclude substantial improvements on the County-State Aid roads. The Town Improvements of roads with State funds is going ahead and we met on the 1st day of August, 1946. at Woodstock, Illinois to receive bids on the Bituminous surfacing portion of the work, nnd the gravel portion of the work is advertised for letting on August 20, 1946.
