Bach gave a short talk, after which the German band played a few selections. Installation followed at the parochial school hall, with the following being installed: Chief Ranger--Helen Wegener. 'Birthday Anniversaries Patricia Lee Marshall was hostess to nineteen -of her schoolmates recently at a party honoring her birthday anniversary,. Games "played, followed by the serving of a tasty lunch at a table attractively decorated in pink and blue. A large\|>frthday cake served as centerpi «#e. Miss 'Marshall received many lovely gifts. Guests were entertained at the Marshall-Kosinski home a few days later to celebrate the birthdays of Patricia Marshall, Christofer Bennett and ReVena Marshall. Present were Mr.* and Mrs. A. L. Earl Conway sang "O, Promise Me," preceding the service, and at the offertory Bliss Clara Miller sang "Ave Maria." The bride's mother sang "I Love You Truly" following the nuptials. The bride was charmihg in a of white marquisette, with yoke, and fingertip veil held in place by a tiara of seed pearls. She carried a bridal bouquet of white roses. Serving as her attendants were her sisters, Mrs. Helen Low and Miss Grace Kilday. The former acted as matron of honor, attired in blue marquisette and blue picture hat and carrying a pink carnation 'bouquet. Miss Grace, serving as junior (bridesmaid, wore a yellow marquisette dress and pink carnation headpiece. She carried a small bouquet, also of pink carnations. Leander Lay of Spring Grove served his brother as best man, while Richard Smith, brother-in-law of the bride, acted ag groomsman. Ushers were "Chuck" Weingart and Gerald Klaus of - Chicago, both brothers-in-law of the groom. The bride's mother chose a grey dress with which she wore navy accessories, while the groom'A mother wore a navy-colored suit and navy accessories. Both had corsages of sweetpeas. Thirty-three guests were present at. the wedding dinner held at the e ballroom. Later a reception t. Mary's-St. Patrick's school hall was attended by 160 guests, with supper served at 6 p. m. The couple left on a short honeymoon trip into Wisconsin, after which they will reside in Chicago. Wright, Elgin, last week during a heavy shower, starting a fire which caused damage estimated at $1000 before being extinguished by firemen. Members of the family were not home when the fire started and the flames gained considerable headway before being discovered.
